Pacific Grove Heritage Society ~ Historic Home Plaques

The Home Plaque Program was started in 1978 during the early years of the Heritage Society. Our goal is to recognize historic homes and their original owners.

Over 600 plaques have been given out by the Heritage Society.

The plaques are FREE to homeowners. To apply for a plaque inquire at the Barn on Saturdays from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m., or by mail:

Plaques are made upon the request of the property owner. The property is researched and if qualified (meets age requirement and retains its original character) a plaque will be made with the name of the owner at the time the property was first assessed for improvements.
