Good Old Days
The Heritage Society maintains an information booth and displays some of our treasures from the Barn. Good Old Days will be held April 8th and 9th, 2006 in downtown Pacific Grove. |

Secret Gardens of Pacific Grove
The fifth annual Secret Gardens of Pacific Grove tour was held on Saturday, May 6th, 2006. The tour featured 8 – 10 beautiful, private gardens. There was a tea party and a gift store with garden related items and original art. |

Preservation Week/Heritage House Awards
Each year, in conjunction with National Preservation Week, we honor those buildings which have recently been remodeled, renovated or newly constructed in an exemplary manner. Awards will be presented during a ceremony held at the Pacific Grove Museum on Friday, May 12th, 2006. |

Pony Baseball/Softball
The Heritage Society sponsors a Pony League Baseball team in Pacific Grove each year. |

School Outreach Program
A historian will present a program to each of the local elementary schools about local architecture and/or history. |

Lecture Series
The Heritage Society sponsors special programs of interest to the local community in the summer. The subject, speaker and location for each program will be announced in the Newsletter. |

Victorian Dinner
An evening of fine food and wine will be held during the late summer or fall. This is a very special event with door prizes being awarded. |

Historic Home Tour
The popular Historic Home Tour will be held on October 1st , 2006. Pacific Grove Heritage Society, Chamber of Commerce and Pacific Grove Art Center jointly sponsor this event. It is a wonderful opportunity to view some of our beautiful historic homes and Bed and Breakfast Inns. Also, Artists in Chautauqua will be held in coordination with the Historic Home Tour and has become a popular attraction with numerous artists and artisans featured at Chautauqua Hall. |

Christmas at the Inns
This is an evening tour of the beautiful Bed and Breakfast Inns and is usually held on the first Tuesday and Wednesday of December. It is also co-sponsored by the P. G. Chamber of Commerce. This year’s event will be held on December 5th and December 6th, 2006.

Heritage Bird Houses
This event was held for the first time in the fall of 2005 and was so popular that it will become an annual fundraiser for the Heritage Society with creative bird houses made by local members and auctioned off. |

The Barn, located at the corner of 17th Street and Laurel Avenue, is open every Saturday between 1:00 and 4:00 p.m. It is filled with artifacts from an earlier era of our local community and contains many interesting treasures. You are very welcome to visit this free, small exhibit. |
